Dear Colleagues,

In  this  fourth  circular  we  inform  you  that  the  registration  deadline  is  extended.  The  final deadline will be 25th February, Monday.

We kindly ask you to respect this date.

It is to note that the deadline for payment has not been changed, which is 28th February.

As it was indicated in the previous letter, the registration is only possible through the webpage of the CETeG:

http://petrol.natur.cuni.cz/ceteg/registration

If you are already a registered member, just sign in, and you can proceed with the registration to the meeting. If you have forgotten your password, use Request new password link, fill in your registered email address and you will receive a new link immediately. 

If you are new in the community, you need registration. You should fill in basic information about yourself, which will be used during the conference registration.

Abstracts

During the registration and abstract submission process the following questions have emerged:
  • number of abstracts/oral/poster presentations per author
  • length of the abstract

Guide for the abstract:

  • maximum 4700 characters with spaces (title, authors, text, references, figure captions included)
  • please, use the following file name format: last_name_of_the_first_author_2013_ceteg.file_extension (e.g. Kover_2013_ceteg.docx)
  • maximum 2 figures are allowed. Figure captions to be included to the end of the text.
  • please, send the figures as .jpg or .tiff extension in 300dpi resolution to the following address: Balázs Horváth, kyklad@gmail.com
  • please, name your figures in the following way: last_name_of_the_first_author_2013_ceteg_Figure_X.file_extension (e.g. Kover_2013_ceteg_Figure_1.jpg)

As first author, only one oral presentation is possible. However, more posters are welcome. Due to the lack of fields for a second abstract as first author during the registration process, please send your second and following abstracts to the next address: Balázs Horváth, kyklad@gmail.com

If you are not the first author, this process is unnecessary, because the first author should arrange abstract sending.

Poster format

We have poster stands in the size of 85x95 cm. It is thus preferably if you prepare posters in the  size  of  80x90cm.  Please,  note  that  this  size  is  smaller  than  A0  and  larger  than  A1. However, you can control the size of your poster in drawing software.

We will provide for fixing the posters (glue, sellotape, drawing pin etc.)

Finally, we would like to encourage you and your students to register and send your abstracts till the modified deadlines!

Submission of short communications or manuscripts to Central European Geology:
21th February 2013

Payment: 28th February 2013
