Dear Colleagues,
in this second circular we would like to distribute detailed information on the registering process, accommodation, abstract submission, payment and deadlines. There were smaller changes within the fees, so please read carefully through this letter. The basic aim of the organizing committee was to keep price for young scientist as low as possible, to encourage them for coming, and present day results.Participation of young scientists is highly supported. This conference has its primary goal to offer possibilities for master and PhD students and young researchers for both oral and poster presentations. We thus kindly ask leaders of research groups to encourage the youngster to come and participate with their results. We will try to keep registration and other costs as low as possible, in order to promote their participations. Also, we hope to find supports from companies and institutions to reduce these costs.

Invited specialists
As you know, the annual meeting of CETeG collects geoscientists of the four Visegrad countries, Czech, Slovak Republics, Poland and Hungary. Because geology does not fit to state boundaries, the conference topic includes the tectonic, magmatic, sedimentologic evolution of the Carpathian-Alpine orogenic belt, the Pannonian Basin, and the older orogens north of the Carpathians. Due to this extension both in geography, both in topics, the organising committee invited colleges who are experts of either the Alpine-Carpathian belt, the Pannonian Basin or the Variscan belt, to participate the conference. Their main task will be to initiate discussions after the presentations, in the poster session, or in a general way, ask questions and help young scientist to think about the possibilities of the continuation and extension of their works. As the conference is particularly dedicated for young researchers, MSc and PhD students and post-docs, it would be a great opportunity for them (and for more advanced colleges as well) to have discussions and been asked about their results.
Prof. Bernhard Fügenschuh from the University of Innsbruck, Prof. Kurt Decker from Vienna and Dr. Gábor Tari from ÖMV, Vienna kindly accepted the invitation of the organising committee. So we would like to encourage young scientist to prepare for the conference, and do not hesitate to ask as many questions as arise, and participate in discussions either after the talks or during less formal events, such as ice-breaker party or conference dinner.
Central European Geology
As it was announced in the previous letter, there is a possibility for those who would like a real publication in a regular journal. The Central European Geology accepts both short (4-6 pages) and longer manuscripts for publication. The journal is published by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the follower of the Acta Geologica Hungarica and Acta Mineralogica-Petrologica Segediensis. Details of the journal can be reached on the following website: http://akkrt.hu/31/journals/products/earth_sciences/central_european_geology_eng. The papers are referred in Chemical Abstracts, Elsevier Geo Abstracts, GEOBASE and SCOPUS. If there would be enough candidates, publication of special issue would be possible. Please, indicate your intent for publication to the organizing committee asap.
