Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the 20th Anniversary CETEG meeting will take place in the Sudetes Mountains, in the village of Srebrna Góra, near the town of Ząbkowice Śląskie, ca. 65 km S of Wrocław.

The meeting will be held in one of the most interesting places in the Sudetes, close to the boundary between the Góry Sowie (Owl Mountains) metamorphic massif and the remains of a syn-tectonic intramontane basin represented by the Bardo unit. Srebrna Góra is situated on the Sudetic boundary fault, along which the Sudety Mountains and the entire Bohemian Massif, were uplifted in the late Cenozoic in relation to their foreland.

The meeting is organized by Structural Geology and Geohazards Research Group of the Polish Geological Society.
